His father was a jealous, possessive fireman.
His mother was a kind-hearted, loving nurse.
Yuu was a brat who feared doctors...
Pretty much one little fucked up child.

Yuu wasn't normal from the beginning. But his parents, especially his mother, thought when a child craved for attention it was normal and he shouldn't be deprived of it. So his mother, mostly, gave him all the attention she had to offer. His father told her to not baby Yuu so much, but she couldn't help it. "Why would I say 'no' to such a adorable face?" was her redundant excuse. All the attention Yuu got, diminished his father's time with his wife drastically. His father didn't want to put up with it so he simply left his wife with the attention-craving boy.

Not too long after Yuu's father's departure, Yuu's mother slowly became insane from loneliness, but she tried her best to put on a happy face and continue to tend to Yuu's want for attention and appreciation. When Yuu was 13, his mother ended up killing herself in a car accident that she led people to believe that was just an "accident." Yuu was left alone, sending him off the edge, still craving for attention. He was sent to his grandparents, despite the fact that they both smoke -- which actually picked up on Yuu. They were a loving grandfather and mother who made the unnoticed mental disorder worse. All of the attention he got was to simply stop the hair ripping, setting things on fire, whining, screaming and all the exaggerated tantrums he'd thrown when ignored.

His grandfather had his suspicions about his grandson, so he took Yuu to get a examination. It turned out that he had Narcissistic personality disorder and Impulse control disorder. This came surprising to his grandmother, but not that grandfather.

When Yuu was 15, he had thrown one of the worst tantrums one child could possibly ever do.

His grandmother didn't want things to get worse so the ties she had with Yuu were abruptly cut off. Yuu couldn't handle it for a day. Not even an hour or less. In response, he throw oil around the home and lit the home on fire while his grandparents were asleep late at night. Before such preparations, he took one of his grandparents cigarettes, left them carelessly on the ground to make it look like he wasn't the cause of the burn-down of his grandparents home. He got out safely, wouldn't wanting a scar on his "beautiful" body, but it would be a lie to say his guardians did as well.

At the age of 16, he was taken into care by his grandparent's neighbor who didn't like him ever since he moved in with his grandparents. His new guardian was a fake, scrawny woman. She first made it seem like she was a kind-hearted lady, tending to everything Yuu wanted and when he hit 18, she sent him to the closest asylum.

But of course, Yuu had thrown tantrums before submitting, unwillingly, to the transfer.
